eBay Auctions - What’s Hot? - eBay tools

For many people like you, starting an eBay business will require you to spend a lot of time figuring which items are popular and sell the most on eBay auctions, this means that you will need some eBay tools. Different people come up with differing systems to get this information, and others simply go out and buy a course (which is expensive) to find out what’s hot on eBay.  However, neither of these two methods is necessary to do as the information is freely available to you and everyone around on the eBay website!

If you look into any category on the ebay site, you will see that some have the word (hot) beside them and some other items. The items that are marked with the word hot, are not done so at random, and there is a method to how this is done. Items that are marked in red with ‘hot’, only get marked as hot after that actual item has received more than 30 bids.  To find out what is hot, all you need to do is to take a look at the eBay website and you will find a few items in different categories that are bug sellers – this is a valuable eBay tool that many power sellers use.

However, many power sellers will agree and tell you that this isn’t the only methods that you should choose when looking into hot selling items and categories as they claim that doing the process is an actual science. A really good way to start your search for items that are going to sell speedily in your future auctions will be to research other auctions in your target categories that have been great sellers in the past. You can view old listings that have completed at:http://listings.ebay.com, which is an eBay tool that Ebay themselves advise you to use.
